Ivana Wong ist Hongkongs führende Singer-Songwriterin, die bei ihrem Einstieg in die Musikindustrie im Jahr 2005 als „Star-Sängerin mit einer himmlischen Stimme“ gefeiert wurde. In den folgenden Jahren gewann sie das Board der Creative Singer Awards sowieinger Songwriting Awards, und sieben Jahre in Folge erhielt sie die Commercial Radio Singer-Songwriter Awards und viermal die Singer-Songwriter Gold Awards, für die sie weithin als „Die Königin der Singer Songwriter“ gefeiert wurde.

2011 wurde der Titelsong „Missed Address“ für den Film „A Beautiful Life“ unter der Regie von Andrew Lau Wai-keung, geschrieben und gesungen von Ivana, als bester Originalfilmsong in einem Filmbild nominiert. 2012 gewann ihr Song „Liu Bai“ den Golden Song JSG Award (Jade Solid Gold Awards Presentation) und war der einzige Song, der bei allen vier Musikpreisverleihungen der Branche ausgezeichnet wurde. Ihr Debütkonzert, das im Oktober 2011 im Hongkonger Kolosseum stattfand, „The Water Lily Concert“, geleitet von drei renommierten Musikdirektoren, die mit einem Orchester von zweiundvierzig Musikern zusammenarbeiten, galt als beispiellos und phänomenal und wurde von allen als „ Kunstshow-Aufschwung, der das HK Coliseum überwältigt“. Ihr zweites Konzert gab sie dann im Mai 2014 im Hong Kong Coliseum. und ihr erstes Kollaborationskonzert mit dem Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra im Oktober 2015 in der Concert Hall des Hong Kong Cultural Center, „Fragrance of Music, Ivana Wong x Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra“. Beide Konzerte erhielten großes Lob.

Apart from being a professional singer, Ivana has made a number of appearances in drama acting. In 2010, she appeared in the musical drama “Octave”, which held a record of nineteen full-house shows, and the music she wrote for this drama was nominated for The Best Original Music Score in a Drama in the 20th Hong Kong Drama Society Award. In 2011, her appearance in the Broadway Musical “I Love You Because” brought her the first nomination for Best Supporting Actress in the 21st Hong Kong Drama Award Presentation. Ever since then, she rose to the fame of a talented and professional actress. In 2013, she appeared the first time as actress-in-a-main-role in the TVB series “Inbound Troubles”. Her spontaneous and impressive acting took audience and entertainment critics by surprise, and was widely loved and highly acclaimed by audience at large. Subsequently, in the same year, she took the role of Wu Lu, as her debut filming career, in the Lunar New Year movie “Golden Chicken SSS”. Her acting was widely praised, and this role brought her accolades “Best Newcomer” and “Best Supporting Actress” of The 34th Hong Kong Film Awards in 2015, also “Best Newcomer” of Hong Kong Film Directors’ Guild, and hence forth consolidated her talented professional career as an all-round-artist in singing, songwriting and acting. She participated in the performance of the stage play "Little HK 4-6" from 2013 to 2017. In May 2018, she formed “Lungg” together with Michael Ning and Yeung Wai Leun (Lun) for the 21 performances of the "Laboratory". In August 2019, she translated the Broadway love music comedy "First Date" and performed 13 times. Ivana Wong is the initiator of this play. She is an actor, producer, co-ordinator and investor. She participates all parts of the performance such as selection of repertoire, selection of plays, and translation of scripts.
